Privacy
What TypeToaster stores, where, and what never leaves your computer. Updated 5 September 2026.
Your PDF never leaves your computer
TypeToaster opens the PDF in your browser and keeps it there, in the browser’s local storage, so you can pick it up later. It is not uploaded to any server; we do not read it and cannot. If you clear the site data in your browser, it is gone.
What is stored in your browser
Your progress per book and page, your sessions (speed, accuracy, date), your settings, and copies of the PDFs you open. All of it lives in your browser; you can export it to a file from Settings and delete it whenever you like.
Anonymous statistics
To know whether the product works we count usage milestones: how many pages get completed, in which language and device type, with a sample book or your own PDF, and from which country (as reported by the network, with no IP address stored). There is no identifier, no cookie and no browser fingerprint: we cannot know who you are or follow you across visits. The PDF, its text and what you type are never sent. You can turn it off in Settings; the site works the same.
Cookies
TypeToaster does not use cookies. The browser keeps site data (local storage, a local database and the app cache for offline use) only so the app works; none of it identifies you or is shared.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which, like any network provider, processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the pages; we do not use them.
Advertising
There are no ads today. If there ever were, they would appear only on the home and summary screens, never on the page you type, and this policy would be updated beforehand with who serves them and how to opt out.
Your rights and contact
Since everything lives in your browser, you control your data: export, import and delete are in Settings. For any question: hola@typetoaster.com. Controller: [TITULAR].
